How Supplier Monitoring Works
Repricefy monitors 40+ retail suppliers every 2–6 hours. When your supplier's price changes or a product goes out of stock, we know — and we act automatically.
What we monitor
For every supplier product you've linked:
- Price: current selling price on the supplier's website
- Stock status: in-stock, out-of-stock, or limited availability
- Price history: track how the price has changed over time
How it works
- You add a supplier URL to a product (e.g., a Walmart product page)
- Repricefy checks that URL on a schedule:
- Free plan: every 6 hours
- Starter: every 4 hours
- Pro: every 3 hours
- Scale: every 2 hours
- When something changes, Repricefy takes action automatically
What happens when the supplier price changes?
When your supplier's price goes up or down:
- Your product's cost is updated in Repricefy
- Your floor price is recalculated based on the new cost
- The repricer adjusts your Amazon price on the next cycle
- You get a notification on your dashboard
Example:
- Supplier cost was $19.99, now it's $22.99 (+$3)
- Your old floor: $28.50 (15% margin)
- Your new floor: $32.00 (15% margin on higher cost)
- If your Amazon price was $30.00, the repricer raises it to $32.00
What happens when the supplier goes out of stock?
This is one of Repricefy's most important features:
- We detect the supplier product is out of stock
- An OOS alert is created on your dashboard
- You receive an email notification
- For FBM listings: your Amazon quantity is automatically set to 0
This prevents you from selling products you can't fulfill. When the supplier restocks, we detect that too and can restore your listing.
FBA listings are NOT zeroed. If you use FBA, your inventory is already in Amazon's warehouse. Supplier OOS doesn't affect your ability to fulfill orders.

Adding a supplier to a product
- Go to your product in the Products page

- Repricefy auto-detects the retailer and starts monitoring
You can add multiple suppliers per product. The primary supplier is used for cost calculations.
